Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Writora Publishers. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, publishing solutions, cover design, web development, SEO, social media setup, and marketing services. By engaging our services or placing an order with Writora Publishers, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. Scope of Services

Writora Publishers provides professional ghostwriting, editing, book cover artwork, interior manuscript formatting, Amazon KDP publishing setup, custom website development, search engine optimization (SEO), and social media promotion.

  • Project Brief: The exact deliverables, scope, turnaround times, and milestones for each project will be outlined in your individual service agreement or official invoice.

  • Revisions: Revisions are included based on the agreed project scope. Any major scope changes or additional feature requests made after initial milestone sign-off may incur additional service fees.

2. Intellectual Property & Copyright Ownership

  • Manuscript & Content Ownership: The client retains 100% full copyright and ownership of all manuscripts, literary works, characters, and original author content submitted to or created by Writora Publishers once full payment has been settled.

  • Delivered Assets: Upon completion of final billing, all final approved book covers, formatted files, and website assets are fully transferred to the client.

  • Portfolio Showcase Rights: Unless a formal non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or written non-display request is executed prior to project launch, Writora Publishers reserves the right to showcase completed book covers, web designs, and promotional case studies in our official business portfolio and promotional materials.

3. Client Responsibilities & Timelines

  • Information & Assets: The client agrees to provide all required manuscript files, author information, credentials, image assets, and feedback in a timely manner.

  • Project Delays: Turnaround times are estimates. Writora Publishers is not liable for project launch delays caused by slow client feedback, delayed content delivery, or unapproved draft revisions.

4. Payment Terms & Invoicing

  • Payment Schedules: Services must be paid according to the milestone payment schedule specified on your invoice or onboarding agreement.

  • Suspension of Work: Failure to settle pending invoices or milestone payments within the agreed time frame may result in a temporary suspension of active design work, website hosting configurations, or KDP uploads.

5. Refund Policy & Anti-Chargeback Agreement

All financial transactions are governed by our official Refund & Cancellation Policy:

  • Service Non-Delivery Basis: A 100% full refund is granted exclusively if Writora Publishers fails to deliver the contracted services. Refunds are not issued for completed, delivered, or approved milestone assets based on subjective preference changes.

  • Mandatory Refund Protocol: If you believe you have not received your contracted service, you must submit an official claim directly to finance@writorapublishers.com. Approved claims are refunded to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

  • Strict Anti-Chargeback Policy: Clients strictly agree not to initiate payment chargebacks, bank disputes, or payment reversals without contacting our finance team first. Initiating an unauthorized chargeback constitutes a breach of contract and will result in the immediate forfeiture of all project assets, web licenses, and publishing transfer files.

6. Third-Party Platforms & External Services

  • Amazon KDP & Retail Outlets: While Writora Publishers optimizes all metadata, formatting, cover jacket specs, and SEO parameters to adhere to platform standards, we do not control third-party platforms (including Amazon KDP, Google Search Console, or social media networks). We are not liable for account suspensions, algorithm shifts, or policy changes enacted by third-party providers.

  • Hosting & Domain Accounts: For custom author websites, clients are responsible for maintaining ongoing third-party hosting, domain renewals, and server costs beyond the initial development setup.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Writora Publishers and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of profits, data, or royalties arising out of or connected with the use of our services or third-party retail distribution performance.

8. Termination of Service

  • Termination by Client: Clients may request project cancellation at any time by written notice. Payment for completed milestones or work-in-progress up to the cancellation date remains non-refundable.

  • Termination by Writora Publishers: We reserve the right to terminate a project or service agreement immediately if a client engages in fraudulent activity, abusive communication, or breaches these Terms.

9. Modifications to Terms

Writora Publishers reserves the right to revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and become effective immediately upon posting.
